What To Expect When Taking
Vive Biotics
Taking probiotics means you're changing the gastrointestinal environment of your gut. If you have a lot of bad bacteria residing in your intestines (and most of us do), they're not going to be very happy about being crowded out by good bacteria! This can result in some unpleasant symptoms at first. Keep in mind, toxins and bad bacteria HAVE to escape in one way or another, which is what we want!
The probiotics in Vive Biotics is a fast way to introduce different colonies of healthy bacteria into the gut. One billion CFU's per daily serving to be exact!! These bacteria will be competing for space in the digestive tract, which can cause some discomfort at first.
The good news is that this is only temporary. Once the good bacteria has been established, you'll start to feel a lot better.
Some symptoms/side effects may include:
DAY
1-14
DAY
15-30
Your symptoms should start to diminish now, as your body begins to adjust. You should also notice less bloating and bowel movements becoming more regular.
DAY
31-60
By now, you should be feeling a lot better. Your digestion should have improved, and you will have more energy.
DAY
61-100
At this stage, your healthy gut bacteria should be properly established. It's important to keep taking the probiotics to help maintain the healthy gastrointestinal environment and
keep bad bacteria at bay.
How To Reduce Severity of Your Symptoms
✔ Take Prebiotics
Prebiotics are 'food' for probiotics. They include fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kefir, kimchi and tempeh. Prebiotics help to support the growth and development of healthy bacteria.
✔ Drink Water
Drinking plenty of water helps the good bacteria going into your gut to flush out the bad. Water also helps to keep your digestion running smoothly.
✔ Add Fiber
Soluble fiber such as psyllium husks, flaxseeds, chia seeds or LSA is a must. Fiber works like a sponge in your gut, soaking up the garbage that's arrived there and allowing it to be flushed out of the body. Again, make sure you increase your water intake when adding fiber to your diet.
✔ Take Magnesium
Magnesium helps to relieve insomnia, irritability and constipation during detox.
✔ Get Moving
Regular daily exercise such as walking will help keep your body systems moving the waste along, speeding up the elimination process.
Unfortunately, some people are so frustrated with their transition symptoms and they may decide to stop taking their probiotic. While this stops their discomfort, it'll also stop the good bacteria from establishing themselves in the gut, as well as the benefits associated with a healthy colon.
